Founded in 2015 by Aida Kim and Larz Harry, MAN-TLE is an Australian clothing label produced by Heavy Weight Clothing Pty Ltd, a design and fabrication company specialising in the production of textiles, garments, accessories and objects with expert Japanese manufacturers. They work from their studio at SHOP MAN-TLE in Northbridge, WA, which is also their flagship store.
MAN-TLE garments prioritise practicality, ingenuity and durability. MAN-TLE pieces are constructed from a signature MAN-TLE cloth, purpose-made in collaboration with family-run factories in some of Japan's oldest textile regions. MAN-TLE sources other featured materials and quality hardware from around the world to ensure every MAN-TLE item adapts, evolves, and ages with wear.
