Yoko Sakamoto - Classic Coach Jacket (Brown)
Classic tailoring with five buttons on the front. A relaxed and stress-free fit that can be worn over any outfit. Can also be worn with the collar up. An original striped material that was reinterpreted by adding unique arrangements to the blend ratio and color, based on archive materials found in the warehouse of a historic weaver in Oshu.
The warp thread is made of 2/48 wool dyed black, and the weft thread is a calm color with a different color, giving it a very deep color. The herringbone structure based on a 2/2 twill weave allows the warp and weft colors to mix evenly, making the pattern appear faintly. The fabric is slowly woven on an old-fashioned loom, resulting in a unique texture that is uneven, dry, and stiff. It has a unique presence, like an antique, that is not found in current fabrics. It is a fabric that will age and develop with use, which is something to look forward to.
