The fabric has a very classic weave called toreori, and the ikat threads dyed in a complex pattern create exquisitely hidden stripes. The raw material is made from yarn spun from wool grown in Tasmania, Australia. Tasmanian wool from Tasmania is a producer of superfine wool and has a very soft texture that feels good on the skin. After weaving, the fabric is washed to create a lighter, warmer material with more volume.
